At iTEP, we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all English test. That’s why we offer a special test for young learners (iTEP SLATE), a test for professional settings (iTEP Business), comprehensive “Plus” versions of our tests, and shorter “Core” versions. We also customize our English assessment tools to meet needs of individual clients.

The latest additions to our growing line of English assessment tools are iTEP Au Pair and iTEP Intern. These new exams were created for individuals applying for J-1 Visas to work as au pairs or interns in the US.

Like our iTEP Hospitality exam, iTEP Au Pair and iTEP Intern assess speaking and listening skills and last 30 minutes. iTEP Au Pair and iTEP Intern are administered at our more than 500 test centers around the world and can also be administered by organizations who work with J-1 Visa applicants. We are thrilled to offer the first English tests specifically for these types of J-1 Visas.
